Sunday Dinner

What seems to be common in most countries for Sunday afternoon lunch/dinner are:
Poultry
Sauce
Vegetables
Pulse/ (carbohydrate)

In the UK,  Sunday dinner would mostly consist of
- Roast potatoes
- Roast chicken
- Gravy
- Boiled or steamed rice
- Steamed mixed vegetables

In the Caribbean,  Sunday dinner would mostly consist of:
- Macaroni & cheese
Or
- Rice & kidney beans
- Steamed vegetables
- Roast chicken
- Roast potatoes
- Gravy

In America, most black American homes would have the following for Sunday lunch:
Mac & cheese
Black-eyed peas
Southern fried chicken / fried cat fish
Collard greens
Corn on the cub
Corn bread
Sweet potato pie

In West Africa,  Sunday lunch would consist of:
- Jellof rice
Or
- Boiled rice
- Red stew (sauce made with tomatoes)
- Chicken/Beef/Goat
- Steamed vegetables
- Fried plantain

Qtn: what meal do you eat Sunday afternoon in your home. ....or tell me what meal is eaten in your home country for Sunday lunch?
......for instance,  this Sunday, I cooked and served my family the following (see pic insert):
Fried egg and plantain
Savoury rice
Roast potatoes
BBQ chicken
Red stew
...and because my boys aren't crazy about vegetables, I served slices of fresh plum cold tomatoes.  (Refrigerating the tomatoes makes the tomato slices taste better than when served warm)
